GLP-1 Agonists
GLP-1 agonists are highly sought after for weight loss treatment. Let Lavender Sky simplify the process of accessing the treatments you need to succeed.
GLP-1
GLP-1 agonists are highly sought after for weight loss treatment. They work by suppressing hunger and cravings, keeping you full longer, and by enhancing natural mechanisms in the body to reduce inflammatory insulin resistance. When used with diet and exercise, you can achieve life-changing weight loss, as well as a reduced risk of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease in those who are obese or overweight.
If you and your provider determine that a medication such as Zepbound (tirzepatide), Wegovy (semaglutide), or Saxenda (liraglutide) injection is the right choice for you, you may begin a standard treatment plan of once weekly (Zepbound, Wegovy) or daily (Saxenda) injections. These medications are all FDA approved for weight loss.
Standard Treatment Plans DO NOT include the price of your medication as it must be purchased by you separately. Your GLP-1 Standard Treatment Plan includes submission of your prescription to your desired local pharmacy (or fulfillment service such as Lilly Direct), as well as unlimited support from your healthcare provider and patient support team for your treatment duration (until your next follow-up is due). Please check pricing and availability with your desired pharmacy prior to purchasing your treatment plan service.
For GLP-1 standard treatment plans, a follow-up consultation with your provider is required at your first refill if you were new to the medication. For subsequent refills or if you were previously on the medication, follow-ups are required every 6 months.
Similar to the Standard Treatment Plan, however follow-ups are only required every 9 months once your provider determines you are maintenance status. Maintenance plans do not include the price of your medication as it must be purchased separately.
Important Note for both Standard Treatment & Maintenance Plans: We do not complete prior authorizations for insurance coverage at this time. If one is needed, we recommend an in-person visit with your PCP to help you discuss your options. You may be eligible for some coverage or a coupon without a prior authorization at your insurance provider’s discretion. Please reach out to them directly for information on what they will cover.
Custom GLP-1 Treatment Plans are intended for patients who have a clinical need for custom dosing of GLP-1 medications, or for those seeking an alternative route of administration. Custom treatment plans include the full cost of ordering & shipping your medication to your home, supplies, and unlimited support from your healthcare provider and patient support team for your treatment duration (until your next follow-up is due). You may choose from a list of pharmacies that serve your state.
While we only send prescriptions to vetted and accredited compounding pharmacies, the medications they provide are not FDA approved or regulated. Due to regulations that govern the availability of certain compounded medications, we are unable to guarantee the availability of any particular medication at any time. Injectable compounded medications require administration from a medication vial using a syringe/needle (instructions on preparing and injecting the medication are provided).
